I am Diana Koreneva, born in the small provincial town of Ostrogozhsk (Voronezh region). I prefer to call myself Konstantinovna, that's my middle name. I consider my creativity to be self-promotion. After all, my dream is to "multiply" ideas. My creative journey began at the age of 13, when I read about the psychoemotional orgasms that people got when viewing great works of art in museums. And I wanted to investigate this phenomenon. Seriously I take my interest in painting while studying at the University. It was there where I met a lot of very talented people with non-standard views on the world structure. Then I became interested in science to understand how a person thinks and feels and began to Express it in creativity. At first I worked as an model and make-up artist, and then get interested in a portrait. The central theme of my work is a person and one's inner experience, the search for his place in the world and the attempt to explore it. I prefer to use different techniques and independently discover new ones, work with non-standard materials. I do not limit myself in anything and reinvent the usual things in order to use them in my work. All that helps me to convey my thoughts more precisely. Most of all I like painting with acrylic, it helps to convey bright colours and dries quickly, this makes it possible to paint at any place on Earth. The pastose technique (impasto) is my favourite, it conveys my expression. What inspires me. Most of all I'm inspired by people and how they affect the world around them. I'm interested in complex emotions and deep internal reasons that encourage people to act this or that way. Various sciences researching a human help me to understand and convey it more accurately: neurobiology, ethology and psychiatry. Of course I love movies very much. Especially the films of Lars Von Trier and David Lynch. My favourite artists are Jean-Michel Basquiat, Salvador Dali, Picasso, Serov, Olafur Eliasson.
