This work is inspired by the tragic story of Medusa. In this work Medusa finally get's her revenge upon Poseidon. She is reborn and conquers the sea. Medusa was demonized as many women are in similar situations. Her refusal of Poseidon's advances led to her beheading. This works not only speaks to this story but to victims of sexual assault everywhere. Their voices are heard and will return stronger in their healing.
