Meet Digit Painting

I was inspired by this image of Digit and by the Facebook posts of a friend that fell hard for this dog. Her family adopted this dog from a shelter and the dog as you see is minus 1 leg. Digit is a beautiful dog and the memories made together with this family will be priceless and inspiring. This painting is an image of hope and of pure joy. Dogs occupy a very special place in the heart of a family. Even though Digit is not your dog the image can be as a symbol of that-hope and pure joy are for everyone. As an artist I am interested in eccentric things. The grid on top of the canvas symbolizes the organic nature of humanity and how it does not conform to borders, rules or boxes. Also I want viewers to get to know the 16 smaller abstract paintings within the single piece.
