1969 I was born in Brooklyn, NY. Four years later I moved to my to origin country of Mexico City, were I currently live and reside. From young age, I attended art lessons that got to improve throughout the years.. For the last 15 years I have been active in art, painting and taking different workshops with a variety of techniques to find my own style. My paintings are an extension of me, of my energy and my inner state. They are very colorful and with many marks. It is not a quiet painting, rather there is chaos. I like the figurative abstraction and to transmit the beauty of the imperfection. I like to be surprised at the accidents that happen in the process. My painting is an expressive and gestural way capturing the force and energy. I create a visceral experience through the use of mark making and the application of paint. My paintings are process driven and it is only through the act of painting over, scraping back and drawing into, then my work is resolved.
