'As music is the poetry of sound, so painting is the poetry of sight' I was born in Highgate, London 1948, in Byron House School where my father was the headmaster and given my first easel at the age of five. 67 years later I still enjoy painting! With Nicky Byrne I ran an art gallery in Kintbury Berkshire and sold work to collectors from all over the world. I married Duncan Caddick in 2010 and we moved to Devon., full of new light, love and inspiration. As well as the new watercolour landscapes, I have been able to finish several oil paintings from my old portfolio. Please note that all my work is signed in my maiden name P.Allan
