About The Artwork
A short drive from my home is Meroo Beach. It is a small cove with rocks and headland where waves crash on the shore. A quick painting on paper done on site was the basis for this work. I used this as collage and applied layers of acrylic. The colours are limited palette suggesting the blue mood of the day. The square shape is very suitable for a number of spaces in the home. It will give a fresh coastal feel to any room.

I am a mixed media landscape artist from Dolphin point, NSW. Teaching art classes and workshops from my studio/gallery in Leeton NSW was my life before moving to the coast in December 2019. I love the looseness and unpredictability of marks and experimenting with colour in layers. The diversity of the Australian landscape is inspiration for my work. I explore the landscape through experimenting loosely with mediums such as ink, pastel, charcoal, acrylic and collage.
