German painter Eugen Dick unveils a multifaceted world of colors, using his skilled hand with the palette knife to create stunning and saturated portraits with unique gazes and facial expressions on large canvases. From a young age, Eugen Dick shows a great interest in art, painting his first portrait at the age of 8 and his first oil painting on canvas at 13. He hones his skills through apprenticeship with local artists before studying architecture and becoming a full-time painter in 2005. During his studies, Eugen Dick focuses on portrait technique, particularly on female faces, attempting to capture their profound emotions. The intense gazes and expressions of the portraits almost hypnotize the viewer. The artist prefers working on large canvases with acrylic paints, skillfully using the palette knife to create unique color blocks.
