Miniature from the series of works "Portraits of dogs in miniature". Made on canvas with oil paints of the professional series "Master class" from the factory "Nevskaya palitra". Framed in Italian plastic. Behind a special device (hanger) for hanging on the wall. Single and original author's painting. Did you know that...? The Legend of the Pekingese At home in China, the history of the Pekingese is fanned by legends and mysticism. According to legend, a mighty and ferocious lion fell in love with a little monkey, because anything can happen in this world. But since the animals could not be together due to the size difference, a kind magician came to their aid. He shrunk the lion so that he could be with the monkey. After that, the animals lived together very happily. Soon they had very cute babies, which gave rise to the Pekingese breed. These small pets still harbor the remnants of that ancient magic, so they are deservedly the real pride of the Chinese. They are appreciated and loved.

I was born in the capital of a small Baltic country in a family of artists 51 years ago. I've been drawing since I was a child, as long as I can remember. I was friends with a neighbor boy whose parents were also artists. That's why he and I grew up in a creative environment. Perhaps such an environment (poets, artists, musicians, artists) influenced my development. I drew always and everywhere, and often automatically (unconsciously) . At the age of 17, after graduating from high school, I, as is typical of young people, was a terrible maximalist. It seemed to me that I already know everything and know how to do everything. My parents wanted me to continue my studies at the Art Academy.
