"Moment with friends" Painting

I am a self-taught artist currently based in the town of LA, specializing in contemporary portraiture. Following high school, I embarked on a journey to merge expressionism and abstraction, employing a unique technique of painting with broomsticks. My preferred medium is oils, as they complement my style seamlessly. My inspiration stems from celebrating black culture, infusing elements of fashion and lifestyle into my artistic narrative. Beyond my artistic endeavors, I possess a robust foundation in art history and theory. My academic pursuits have furnished me with a nuanced comprehension of the historical and cultural underpinnings that influence art.
