I am Australian born with an German Art degree. Although I have been painting for over 20 years, an odyssey through oil and watercolor has brought me to acrylic which is a medium that suits me and plays to my strengths. Colour is one of these strengths and has been added to by a life long love affair with the Impressionists and their work. After the end of my degree, I took to painting Cezanne Still Lifes, then Monet, then Renoir, Degas, Morisot, Caillebotte and now also Van Gogh. Due to Corona for almost 2 years, this has been my life. Now the plan is to use all that I have learnt to go further than possibly even Monet, in the depiction of water and its many moods.
