About The Artwork
This is a hand-painted paper collage on a cradled wood panel. Using acrylic paint, I paint the paper and then adhere to the wooden panel to create my image. This painting was inspired by a trip to Ecuador where I saw a magnificent blue morpho butterfly, a sight I will never forget. In my paintings, I try to interpret the miracle of nature.
