After finishing secondary education, I went to Bournville School of Art and Crafts to do a Pre-Degree Course in Art and Crafts for one year. I was then accepted on a BA {Hons} Course in Scientific and Technical Graphics at Plymouth University, I was unable to complete the Course as I got married to a lady in London in 1984. I worked as an Illustrator for a while, then later as a Computer Operator Digitising OS Maps of The UK. My wife and I had our first child in september 1985. After some difficulty in the marriage we got back together and moved into our first home in Stanwell near Staines London. I started working for Yellow Pages Sales Limited in Slough as a General Artist, I worked in all departments from Visuals, Artworks and Revisions. Around 1988 I started to create my Glass Engravings targeting The Corporate Art Market. I was not successful and got disheartened, my wife and I had our second Son in February 1989. Life was good and we bought our Maisonette, I bought a brand new Cavalier Sri 2.0 and we used to visit my parents and family in Birmingham. Difficulty crept in to the marriage and my health started to deteriorate, I was dismissed from my employment at Yellow Pages in August 1993, two months later my wife petitioned me for divorce. I suffered a mental breakdown and my parents took me to Birmingham to look after me. After a year I returned to my property in Stanwell and started working as a Cargo Security Agent, whilst living at my home I was evicted through a Court Order and was made homeless. I found accomodation in a house and continued working as a Security Agent until 1998. My wife took the boys away on holiday to a remote island near Thailand I feared that I would not see them again and suffered another breakdown. I went back to live with my parents in Birmingham and used to travel to London every fortnight to see them. My parents could not tolerate this from me as I was depressed so they made me homeless, a property came up on my housing application a I accepted. I was transferred to Birmingham International Airport in August 2000, my job role included Aircraft Guarding, Jetbridge Control, Passenger Check-in Control, Front of Desk asking Passengers Security Profile Questions, X-Raying Baggage. I did this job for six months and my employment with the Company was terminated for allegations of insubordination. I suffered a mental breakdown and was hospitalised in July 2001 for six months.
