My name is Kira Selenn and I was born in 1993 in Moscow, Russia. I had always wanted to be an artist and I thought my soul belonged to graphic arts. During professional arts education I was struggling with understanding of colors, but after having an academic course of chromatology with extremely talented professor I find my place in painting. I became highly involved in color researching and took the first steps in abstract arts. After graduating from the Moscow State Stroganov Academy of Arts and Industry, I began to work full time as an artist and a designer. My work focuses on abstract compositions of soft gradients colors and vague shapes. For this, I use acrylic paints and unique technique to bland colors. I create a composition with dynamic of natural light, going through fog. My style is somewhere between non-figurative abstract and expressionism. I’m open to experiment during the process of creating, and therefor the result is unexpectedly different.
