Born in the Bronx to Puerto Rican parents in 1964.A love of Marvel comics ignited an interest in painting subway trains. 10 subway masterpieces later, NAC143/NAK1 was part of the 1st documented Graffiti show "FASHION MODA.His trains appeared in the legendary Style Wars movie & "BURNERS" & "Training Days" book "by Henry Chalfant.In March 2002, he organized a group of artists which used construction helmets donated from Ground zero workers to make display art for NY Historical Society Museum show for 9/11 art:Missing.By Sept 02,he was inspired to paint custom graffiti hats from a vendor stand in Soho and later in 03. and eventually at a Times Square location.2005, he won a precedent setting lawsuit vs City of NY for painting art on clothing without a license.It can be found on 1st Amendment rights websites.(Santos aka NAC or NAK vs The City of NY) Jan 05, exhibited & sold at Aurora gallery show- Graffiti:History in the making part 2 & 3 in sept.In Paris 2012 Oct.,Nov.& Feb.2017 his subway map paintings sold at auction.He continues to sell paintings in Soho & on his social media page under , paint murals and involvement with gallery shows.
