ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece entitled "Never Stop Dreaming’’ evokes a feeling of rebellion yet has a peaceful energy. It is acrylic on wood with gold and silver leaf finished with a beautiful sheen of epoxy resin. Tupac is a visionary and therefore a PUNK of the highest order! I'm inspired by anyone who goes against the grain...and Tupac..was way ahead of his time. As I translate my version of these visionaries I'll have their music blasting or their films blaring in the background as I work. I hear their voices, their lyrics, their rhythm... they are infusing the paint and are coded into every canvas. I like to think of my icons sharing a cuppa tea and discussing the world.
