ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I live in the heart of the Laurentian mountains of Quebec Canada. My inspiration is the Boreal forest and nature itself. This work was captured in the cold of winter when ice had formed on the branches and the suns direction created prismatic color. It was quite extraordinary as nature can be at times. The medium is acrylic on a gallery style canvas and the style has a touch of luminescence to it...I feel it really adds an animated life to the over all expression. This painting would brighten up white walls for the person who loves nature just as I do.
