This is a fresco, acrylic, oil painting on gallery wrapped canvas over panel. Wired and ready to hang - no need to frame. Inspired by primitives, street art, folk art and mid century modern design. This work aims to feel natural and clean. Gestural work, sanding, nuanced surface. Please note: there is no use of black in this painting. The deep colors are anthraquinone blues and greens, dioxazine purple and so forth, resulting in deep jewel tones.

LaChance's works were recently selected by Associate Curator, Kelly Shindler of the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis for the 119th survey of midwestern painters for New American Paintings. Her work was displayed at the 2015 PULSE Miami during Art Basel. LaChance exhibits in galleries across the United States and is collected world wide. In 2016 she will be in a group exhibition at the Elmhurst Museum of Art and will exhibit at the Evansville Museum of Art, History and Science in 2017.
