The famous architect of the Modernisme, Antoni Gaudí proyected an skycraper hotel for New York,that never built, of that futurist proyect remain only an sketch that I saw in a exhibition. That inspired me for give a new interpretation by genetical architecture, taking one of the best park with cactus in Montjuic Barcelona mountain, and the Gaudí dream, a mixture of the best emblematic building: La Pedrera and Sagrada Familia. Some day will be posible.

Juan Carter whose artistic pseudonym is “El Gato” is an artist-architect-illustrator originally from Chile. He has been living in Europe for more than 30 years, two years in Holland, two years in France with the remaining time in Barcelona, Spain, the city which provided him with the main influences and ideas for his bizarre artwork. He was working in humour illustration in Chile in the 1980's, where he was one of the principal caricaturists of the Pinochet dictatorship, as well as working as a designer/artist in many important design competition events. His paintings are in acrylic, depicting a combination of nature and architecture, which he describes as "genetic architecture", a view of a future world where the buildings are growing from nature, similar to a Gaudi dream.
