Helen Kagan, PhD, is a healer and artist. She was pioneering in intentionally creating art to heal. Her collection of 'Healing Arts' reflects a deep and colorful view on life, a desire to bridge Realities and heal the Past.
Communicating on subliminal levels, her art delivers this message through positively charged intention, healing frequencies of color and energetically balanced composition.
Her vibrant mainly abstract canvases are influenced by impressionism, and expressionism. Some are raw, some refined, all are intuitive.
Helen strongly believes that art as a powerful form of self-expression is a vehicle for emotional, physical, mental and spiritual well-being, and can enhance healing to those in need. Her passionate art is a statement of her beliefs.
ARTIST'S STATEMENT
I believe art heals.
For many of us, creatives, art is a spiritual path, a transformational process, a way of being. My "Healing Arts" is my unique way to integrate expressive arts and the art of healing.
My canvases are varied, vibrant, some are raw, some refined, all are intuitive - bridges to the past, cities in the rain, street lights, domes, music, oceans, fields of sunflowers, moons, clouds, sunsets... However, there are following themes always present in my art: being on your Journey, moving towards the Light, awareness of 'Here and Now', and of course - 'j'oie de vivre'!
As a therapist and an artist I believe that tragedy, pain and trauma can be healed with beauty, love, positive energy, and self-expression.
My intention is for my unique HealingArts to serve people and communities in need. I envision my artwork to be placed in HealthCare & Hospitality Markets- Medical, Rehabilitation, Multicultural Centers, Hospitals, Crisis Centers, Hotels, - to enhance healing and well-being.
Each generation creates new ideas, paradigms, art forms. I believe my 'HealingArts' as a powerful unique art concept enhances healing and promotes well-being in a viewer.

In the last several years, Helen successfully participated in over 100 juried shows, major Art Fairs (ArtExpo NY, ArtBasel Miami & others), won multiple awards, presented in many Solo, group, and 'featured artist' International Shows and Exhibitions.
