New-York Times: acrylic painting, ink and marker of paper with collage using the newspaper "New-York Times" section entertainment dated 4th January 2020, before the covid-19 It took me a while to work on this painting because I'm not used to work with collage and I usually paint on canvas not on paper. But this topic on New-York using a real New-Yorker newspaper was in my mind and it's a way to celebrate this beautiful city. Using this part of the newspaper was as tribute to all people working in the show business, the arts, the books... All the artists that suffer from this coronavirus sad year: the theatres are closed, the exhibitions are cancelled whether in New-York, Paris or London... The style doesn't vary a lot from my usual style even on paper; I use the painting almost without water, I wait for it to dry and then I add some finishing touches with ink or marker. I protect my painting by an acrylic varnish. dated, signed and delivered with a certificate of authenticity

Figurative Parisian painter capturing the soul of Urban Scenes. Member of society of SALON D'AUTOMNE Paris Member of the Taylor Foundation, Paris Feb. 2023 PARIS (salon Les Artistes Français) March 2023 : LONDON :THE OTHER ART FAIR August 2023: TOKYO ART CENTER, JAPAN Born in the outskirts of Paris. I live and work in Paris suburbs. Living in a big city for half my life has influenced my work. I have a fascination for cities: noisy, overwhelming and lively, yet hiding people loneliness. I paint mostly urban landscapes: the interiors (shops, cafe, theatre house) full of details and colourful with very few details for the people: they are just part of the scenery. I’ve worked for the theatre for ten years and that experience gave me a love of colours, of framing my subject a certain way. I’m not looking for the exact repliqua of the reality but for an emotion I want to convey in my paintings through colors. My work is made of lots of layers of acrylic on a canvas, quick rough brush strokes and vivid colours. I use acrylic because it’s a medium that corresponds to my character: I’m impatient and this material suits me for it allows my painting a speed, a raw aspect, sometimes violent; I work in a kind of urgency.
