Night Fury Painting

Annie Denison is a Colorado born artist working in the Denver area. As a child, she grew up in her grandmother's art studio, trying her hand at any medium she could find. It was this influence that started her on her artistic path and taught her how to dissect and understand the world around her. Living in Colorado has given her a profound interest and respect for the natural world, which is often a conceptual element in her abstractions. She has always been close to nature and influenced by its many faces and moods. Denison has shown her work at local establishments and galleries and participated in performance painting at the Westword music showcase and other local music venues. She is graduating with her BFA from the University of Colorado Denver this fall of 2013.
