Art Description

Painting: Oil on Canvas, Paper.

Oh,2018 Great News this palette knife abstract is now an award winner selected by judge Alexi Antonov. Here's how it's made:The linen canvas was toned & hand torn papers were applied with a medium, then texture paste added and let dry.Fluid acrylics were added & let dry. Then using oil paint I added my lights throughout the painting, my dark's, other colors with a palette knife of carefully placed strokes to my pleasing. I then touched up the clouds with the brush and placed my last large palette knife strokes in front. Then I soft blended the sides and lower portion and tapped in some hints of highlight colors. My art process for Night Reflections is documented in the pictures posted at left. This oil on linen by Kim Shuckhart Gunns using quality oils and no solvents. She signs her artwork KSG on front.
