My name is Cinzia, I am a documentary photographer with a background in fine art painting. My work explores the personal within given historical and public archives. I focus on personal histories. Some of the paintings presented here are inspired by the life of a woman during the years of WWII whose photographs I have found in a Berlin market. The paintings reassert her life rendering the domesticity of the representation in something of due attention. I paint in miniature sizes allowing a greater involvement from the public.
