ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The blue, white and gold abstract background was painted before I added the figure. Most of my abstract pieces are inspired by my emotions, Imagination or memory. I hope viewers can feel serene and think of summers blue skies. I enjoy the freedom you have when painting abstract. I like using acrylic paint as it drys pretty quickly so then i have more time to paint throughout the day. The way I view the painting: I see a women’s figure in a large hat in a one shouldered tight fitting dress walking along the Sandy beach near the waters edge. What do you see? How do you feel?
