This piece was inspired by it's combination of colors; royal blue, magenta and gold metallic. I love the burst pattern from the gold in the center and the colors radiating outward from it. I see movement when I look at it and the colors are very rich with great depth.

I used a technique similar to fluid art to create this solid formed square. I refer to the process as creating fluid structure.

The art itself is a square that is just shy of 4x4 inches, centered on a white mat in a 9x9 inch frame that is a medium brown with a wood grain.

Great for any space where dramatic color and small size work best. Simple. Clean. Minimal.

I'm a self taught mixed media artist from the Los Angeles area, where I've spent most of my life. I come from a long line of musicians, artists and engineers providing me with a natural affinity for the arts. I have been creating art all my life, but have been more serious about it and dedicated to it for the past 16 years. During that time I've done lots of experimenting, learning, growing and finding my groove. I also invented a crafting product, loosely based on a technique I've been using in my own art, and currently have a licensing agreement with a major craft supply manufacturer. It's still in development at the moment, but it will hopefully roll out to the Michaels and Hobby Lobbys of the world by late 2021/early 2022. Much of my artistic endeavors over the past 10+ years have been based on demonstrating the functionality of the product. Now that I've got my contract and it's in development, I'm free to simply make art. Any art that speaks to my soul! My ideas usually come from my moods or experiments. I'm very drawn to color, texture, and movement, along with geometric shapes, organic shapes, and patterns. Most of my work falls under the heading of abstract in a style that is contemporary or modern with simple shapes. My favorite materials to work with are acrylic paints, pouring and gel mediums, alcohol inks and palm fronds. I love what I do and find so much peace and joy when I'm creating and I am ready to pursue a full time career as a visual artist. That's where all my focus is now, and I'm ready to share and sell all the work I've been creating.
