ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is a pretty uncompromising work, it is meant to evoke a feeling of loss and longing for something or someone who is missing. This is probably the most personal picture I have done. I should also add that all the " dribbles" are not random they were all painted in so they ran where I wanted them to and ended where I wanted, the picture is actually very shiny as there is a layer of varnish between each layer of ink.

This profle picture shows me at work in my studio, the work in progress is " Ink Mathmatics". As you can see my work is very varied in subject and style. The things that inspire me are words mostly from songs or poetry, a word a phrase. The pictures I hope speak for themselves, but I hope they have a narrative somehow and tell a story.I have been painting since childhood. For the past year I have worked exclusively in mixed media and my style and execution has evolved into a much more bold and individual realisation of my own artistic philosophy.
