In the world of Amaya O’Neill we could highlight her investigation of the composition and the distribution of Space. She makes us reflect using flat colours in three-dimensional shapes. She inspires art lovers by her distribution of the surface, combining it with the search on a painting that sculpts the act of balance, shades and nuances, without forgetting the concept background – figure. Structuring and de-structuring the simplest forms using geometry, Amaya looks for noble and lasting materials such as wood or crystal. The artist wants to claim the nobility of the simple, rejecting the superfluous. Works of small (29×37 cm), medium (31×40 cm) and big format (41x35 cm) in wood on wood and acrylic form compositions who can act individually or creating a group composition, adapting her art to all kind of space. She also creates inspiring wooden wall sculptures (70x80 cm). These compositions dialogue with the viewer introducing it in a unique space and personal language. LIFETIME Amaya O'Neill lives and works in Sevilla, Spain . She studied Fine Arts at the University of Seville, Santa Isabel de Hungria. She started her degree in 1992, but she has to interrupt her studies and di not finish until some years later.
