My work is inspired by the magnificence of the views and the power of color. I have explored classical and contemporary techniques to discover that color has become my own language.
I focus on color which is one of my passions in each painting I face. I enjoy creating new combinations, either subtle or saturated, but always to enhace the most of each pigment to produce the desired effects on the work.
I paint in my Studio and I´m particularly fond of pleinair painting in my city and outdoors in trips or hikes.
One of my passions are the views from above or eagle views, which may came from my mountain trekking trips since a I was a child and have persisted in my memory ever since. This views are later combined with specific colors for creating a subtle and immeasurable universe with the beauty and the magnificence of the natural world and light.
Resides, I´m also interested in still life painting. I choose objects with significance and usually paint them with palette-knife to produce realistic effects to dazzle in color harmonies and combinations.
