I recently discovered acrylic inks and I fell in love with the way they have strong pigments and the various ways you can work with them and use multiple techniques to get stunning textured effects layer on layer. The way they sit on the canvas is also something I was mesmerised with because the colours look as though you are physically with your subject. I spent days just layering and layering the colours and adding more with so many techniques and strokes until I walked into the beautiful Northern Lights that I one day must visit. This piece is ready to hang with D -rings and strong nylon coated wire installed on the back.

I was born in Cologne Germany but raised in the United States and have lived most of my life in the United Kingdom. I now live in Ware , Hertfordshire with my husband. My inspiration comes from Ware as it is picturesque and incredibly beautiful with Amwell Nature Reserve and the River Lea. My art studio is a home studio. Never did I think I would become an artist but happily this is where I am now. I sell my artwork under the pseudonym @warethewomanwent anonymously. I created this alias on Instagram originally to support and promote local businesses through the pandemic and also to show the beauty of Ware. I now also include my artwork. A defining feature of my paintings is that I sign and date each one on the back under my pseudonym. I have always had a love for art and my artwork is influenced by Claude Monet , Wassily Kandinsky and Jack Vetttriano.
