GanguNaidu, born in 1987, Andhrapradesh. Presently living and working in Hyderabad, Telangana,India. Gangu works combine various techniques and media as charcoal, Indian ink, Acrylic , oil, Image transfer and wood cuts. By engaging with various media, Gangu with ease of facility translates his experiences as creative art statements. His works are empirical by nature premised on his experiences, particularly his travels to various temples of the country. Which shows temple references in Self Portrait as King-I & II series of paintings. Extremely skilled and dexterous in representing reality, Gangu strength is his drawing skills-a methodology that allows him not only to visualize complex compositions but also to render it with equal felicity. This manifest strength allows him to become a flaneur enjoying diverse subjects and themes in creating impressive body of works. Emphatically believing in his perceptions in interpreting the world that he visually enjoys. Versality in handling different media allows him to articulate any themes switching with ease from charcoal drawings to Acrylic media or mixed media. “A preference to work on large scale gives him opportunity to work intricacy and intimacy of details seen particularly in his series titled “Thank you God - I, II, III & IV that represents carrying Hanuman, Goddess Laxmi and Baby Krishna and Ganesha on motorcycle. Yet his works carry layers of meanings .There is subtle humor that manifests his compositions. These perceptions of the artist have significant valence in constituting the meaning in his works. The series of “Thank you God I, II, III and IV “makes reference of thoughts and experiences during lockdown time.”
