Hand-painted abstract fine art. Painting to jazz rhythms, Sophie Mangelsen creates her own and typical gestural abstractions with constant visual interest of jazzy elegance. Mangelsen‘s informal art appeals to introspection and evokes a both inner and outer dialogue with the viewer. ON A SUMMER DAY is painted with gestural strokes and intensity in brush, spate and hands. In its vibrant palette of red and pink tones, touches of green, yellow and gold on white ground, and in combination with the energy of a bold gestural mouvement, it embraces a dialogue towards easiness, joy and strong self-awareness. It tells the story of a vivid summer's day melody. Vibrant golden elements create constant and elegant visual interest and an elegant jazzy vibe. Part of Mangelsen's JAZZ ART collection. Signed, dated on the side and back, white on the edges and ready to hang. S. Mangelsen’s works are all in high quality acrylic technique on gallery quality canvas and wooden stretched frames, carefully protected by special varnish to guarantee a long life and protect the painting from UV rays and dust. + Gallery Certificate of Authenticity Worldwide Shipping. Sophie Mangelsen creates her very own and characteristically gestural abstractions, giving them her very personal touch of elegance, rhythm and finesse, all in a Berlin understatement vibe. Her informal art appeals to introspection and evokes an inner and outer dialogue with the viewer - posing questions about consciousness and unconsciousness, harmony and disharmony, balance and imbalance - to inner landscapes of the complexity of our mind. Sophie Mangelsen, from Berlin, is additionally inspired on her journey by her experience as a psychologist and therapist. She studied at the Université Paris VIII and the University of Leipzig and found her form of expression in painting already in her youth. Her paintings are shown at international exhibitions and are in private collections around the world. In 2022 she was invited as a jury member in the international competition of BALTHASART. The artist lives in Berlin Kreuzberg.
