ON THE BEACH Painting

I am a Designer by profession and a passionate artist, I also run a design studio Named “ARSTUDIOART”. After a gratifying career in Communication Design, I decided to fulfill my childhood passion for Art which leads me into visual Abstract Painting. I have been working as a contemporary artist for nearly 10 years now. I have successfully done various group and solo shows in India and continue discovering my thoughts through the expressions of organic and inorganic forms. I use a number of mediums, which include, Pencils, charcoal, acrylic, oil, pastel. Most of my paintings are based on Expressionism, focusing on emotion and ideas as inspiration. However, I believe that through the painting, the artist can convey ideas in a way that goes beyond describing and telling. My Latest Series, explore the philosophies behind fractals — repeating, increasingly complex patterns filled with colors, lights, and forms, transparency, and spaces. While traditional fractals are typically computer-generated and “perfect,” all my pieces are hand-painted. My process usually is impulsive, I put on paint through “pouring, layering, and crafting along with complex brushwork … I continually repeat this process to achieve a sense of depth, intensity, and composition.” When you step back, further, and try to take it all in, you might even start to see some diverse patterns, organic shapes, or figures appearing within the repeating elements. Although every viewer's perception is different from mine, what one will perceive is always hard to say. . .
