About The Artwork
The background of this triptych was a 3-part canvas photograph with a world map printed on it. However, this is no longer visible on the front. My inspiration was current world events and my original concern was to symbolically and seriously depict war flocks on our world, but the work developed with a good feeling more and more in the direction of light warriors and respectful solidarity of all peoples :-) The background in deep, warm colors shimmers from an ornamentally painted, white network, which also envelops and connects the symbolic "warriors". Everything was sealed with acrylic binder to protect and integrate the materials. The individual pictures can be hung together or separately. See detail photos. There are eyelets on the back and the sides of the frames are also painted so the pictures are ready to hang.
