The centre of my installation was a large and very elegantly laid table, on which I projected the b&w images of many old classical bars and restaurants of the ancient Europe: Venice or Vienna, Paris or Berlin, Nice or Biarritz. The message was: just and only to obtain that heritage, that elegance and splendor, that tradition of style, we, the European people, paid a very high price: centuries of bloodbaths, holocausts, wars, colonizations, revolutions, abuses, exploitations, violences, egoisms, prevarications, ambitions, murders, neurosis, madness, treasons, deceits and a destructive cynicism. And all this, just for that elegance and that splendore. Nevertheless, now all this is lost. It has been worth?
