This painting was inspired by traveling on the quiet roads of the Olympic Peninsula in the summer. The blue sky, the giant trees and the long empty road. This was the beginning of a series that was an exploration of empty public spaces during quarantine in 2020. It is 24"x24", signed and dated on the back, and ready to hang!

Hi! I'm a Seattle-based artist in love with color and straight lines. I use geometric shapes and variations in color to create space and motion and evoke feelings. My process is a combination precise and experimental. I work quite slowly, often painting and repainting until I find exactly what I want. I mostly paint on plywood because I like the juxtaposition of the imperfections of the wood and precision of the painting.
