Omega is the final exhalation of a universe collapsing inward. Radiant yellows and sunburnt oranges of a thousand fiery suns spiral into deep violets and midnight blues, capturing the implosion of a galaxy. Cassius Wright is an abstract painter, lighting designer, and immersive event creator based in Belize, Central America. With a background in theatrical design for dance, circus, special events, and performance, he is known for crafting environments that blur the line between observer and participant. His work, whether on stage, on location, or on canvas, invites people to step inside, engage, and feel. Driven by a passion for bold color, dramatic contrast, and richly layered visual texture, Cassius’s paintings translate the ephemeral nature of light into tangible, expressive compositions. He explores three distinct techniques: throwing paint to capture raw energy in motion, scraping it into the canvas to reveal structured tension and form, or blowing it across the canvas with air and water to create fluid, shimmering topographies that shift in the light.
