On The Sunny Side Painting

I was inspired by a photo I took of buildings reflected upon buildings on a bright sunny day. I was fascinated by the tricks the light played on the eye. Some things were reflections, others were not, the buildings seemed to dovetail with each other at interesting angles so that the scene became an interplay of lines and shapes. I would like the viewer to feel this confusion about what is "real" and what is a reflection and to appreciate the geometric patterns on each shape. I particularly like the patterns of windows and openings in contemporary architecture. I am always drawn to architectural shapes and to pattern. In this painting I also wanted to give the feeling of sunlight on architectural patterns.
