About the Artist

Raffaello Eroico

France

Raffaello Eroico is a contemporary figurative painter based in Toulouse, working between Italy and France. His paintings explore sensual experience through the lens of Neapolitan Baroque and photography, spanning figures, landscapes and still lifes. Gestural brushwork, tight cropping and dramatic light turn each scene into a stage where eros, desire and transformation collide.

His research is structured in four main series: Let It Be (an intimate gallery of cropped, film‑noir‑like details), Cahier d’un faune rêveur (a lyrical diary of hybrid creatures and dreamlike landscapes), Fading Venus (where classical myth dissolves into contemporary atmosphere) and The Longest Journey (an allegorical path through desire, distance and self‑discovery).

Featured multiple times in Saatchi Art’s curated selections such as “New Nudes”, “Renaissance Redux” and “Body Beautiful”, his work is collected internationally by private collectors in Europe and the United States. Available for custom figurative commissions through Saatchi Art.
