About The Artwork

Karl Marx once defined the religions as opium of the people. This triptych represents three famous religions and obviously one of them has a clear reference to the nazi flag. this just to enphatise how strong beliefs, indipendetly from where they come from, can be like a drug for the consciousness of people potentially resulting in blind faith. these are a double-faced acrylic inside acrylic painting . An acrylic ( lucite ) sheet is painted with acrylic colors , then another acrylic sheet is glued on top . The result is a painting with two differtent images on the two sides . The frame is made in painted wood and special system allows the painting to be easily flipped when desired .
