The Arraiolos Carpet is made with "Ponto de Arraiolos", an outstretched cross stitch perfected by the seamstresses of Arraiolos, a charming village in southern Portugal. Needle work, hand embroidered on jute canvas with wool. Because clouds don't have to be white, they have so many colors! Made in Portugal, 35.662 stitches hand embroidered with needle.
