ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is another in my series of shaped paintings. Breaking free of the square or rectangle format in the tradition of Kenneth Noland, Richard Tuttle and Susan Roth. This painting is heavily textured and under painted orange with a silver/pearl and orange tint transparent layers. Some of the layers are iridescent which gives the painting a shimmering quality.
