Art should not be created but must just be. Muses and concepts are only illusions that separate us from the real beauty in life and that life only exists in the dorment recesses of our unconscious subconscious where there is no reality and no resistance to the mundane and also scarred memories that we all try to hide. Art should not be explained. What you see, is what you feel. And what you feel is the only proof and fact, that we are alive and that we dream throughout our eternal lives. Nobody can feel the same way as you and therefor "art", should not be explained like a Silverback Gorilla, not knowing that his only purpose in life is to look scary and intimidating, not realising that he is an attraction. A show. One that can justify its meaningfulness in society is to show us what we really ultimately are. Art is not a technique of who can draw the best. If it were, Mr Kodak and Mr Sony would be very upset. "Without" explaining my work, I have to look back and try to realise what it is/was I was trying to convey. And after every work I wake up to the reality that art is just a bunch of dead ideas that happened to someone else, a long time ago as well. There is no original art genre or school. It's all just a troupe of kids running around during recess, not knowing or caring about the great-less meaning of our lives. As I am influenced by German Expressionism and Dada. My photography focuses on duality or rather opposites that don’t fit. My paintings are vivid self portraits of different states of mind. My work is not about a story or theme but an expression of emotion at any given time. I usually only use my fingers and hands to paint as I feel that illustrates the emotion better that I’m trying to convey.
