Very early original canvas work. Hand Drawn - Spray paint and Marker. This work is inspired from and directly related to my Origami Sculptures. It is essentially a conceptual geometric form that could never exists in 3 Dimensions that is built with the forms of one of my 3x3 cubic variation Origami Sculptures. Creating these 2 Dimensional images begins with a formula on how to mathematically approach a more simple geometric form and allow it to expand in complexity through the consistent application of math that is unrelated to what the form looks like and directly related to a process of symmetry, rotation, repetition, and mirrored images. In a sense I know how I am going to build a specific design based not upon what I want or think the final product should look like but rather by using mathematical principles related to how the geometry varies. Due to the nature of this mathematical approach the finished product is more of a result and surprise than a preconceived geometric form. This gives you the blueprint for creating designs that have a concrete and yet visually unknown solution. This allows my work to continually evolve, making my geometric forms more complex creates an exponentially increasing amount of potential designs. This specific geometric form is created by using the shapes of 6 different cubic variations that are mirrored images of a 3x3 cube that exists within a 9x9 cubic grid. All 6 of these cubes share common edges (Yin and Yang) allowing for an optical illusion spawned from drawing geometry that doesn't exist in three dimensions. Although the overall form is a hexagon this process can be repeated in any direction infinitely creating a never-ending pattern.

More than 140,000 individual folds in a single sculpture. “Origami and its mathematical principles are undoubtedly the most universally consistent art form in all the cosmos" - Self taught base folds and original design sculptures and paintings. Thousands of sheets of paper without any adhesives and application of mathematical engineering process into 2-Dimensional Paintings and Drawings. I showcase and express a universal language of physical creation based upon evolving shapes and engineering geometry through a formulaic approach. It is an educational and cerebral art form centered around complex mathematical puzzles in both 2 and 3 Dimensions. As a self taught artist I have a true affinity for the technical process and challenging aspects of physically creating and realizing designs with my own hands and brain. Everything I create is original to me. This means that I have never seen the works elsewhere. I almost never create the same design twice due to the infinitesimal amount of possible variations within these geometric structures. Pushing the limits and boundaries of Origami and mental dexterity I only challenge myself; however I may be a leader in this timeless artform. Not just in this era but through time. Through hands-on mathematics I create concrete engineered geometric forms that represent the principles of infinity. Nearly every design I create theoretically expands infinitely in all directions and each specific sculpture is a representation of a physical geometric space that exists within these infinite patterns. The finished products often result in naturally occurring relatable symbols such as 3rd Eyes, Star of David, Swastika, Keyholes, Abstract Humanoid Faces, Forms, and more. Diverse viewing angles and negative spaces organically create these forms within the paintings and as you move about the sculptures allowing the geometry to line up (I call these money shots or money angles). A Synonymous relationship between chaos and order. Creating these sculptures begins with a consistent mathematical formula on how to evolve and advance the forms and designs of three-dimensional sculptural origami paper puzzles. In a sense I know how I am going to build a specific design based not upon what I want or think the sculpture should look like but rather by using mathematical principles related to how the geometry varies.
