I am a Nigerian artist working primarily with acrylic on canvas, creating paintings that explore spirituality, consciousness, and the unseen forces that shape human existence. My practice is deeply conceptual, rooted in introspection and guided by intuition, symbolism, and layered meaning. Each work functions as both a visual experience and a spiritual inquiry. My paintings draw from personal reflection, ancestral memory, and metaphysical thought, engaging themes of identity, transition, inner strength, and the connection between the physical and the spiritual realms. Through color, texture, and deliberate abstraction, I seek to create spaces for contemplation-where emotion, belief, and imagination intersect. I studied at Ulster University, Belfast, an experience that expanded my artistic language and sharpened my conceptual approach, allowing me to merge contemporary perspectives with cultural and spiritual influences from my Nigerian heritage. This cross-cultural foundation continues to inform my work, giving it both local depth and global resonance. My goal is to create paintings that are not only seen, but felt-works that invite viewers into quiet dialogue, reflection, and spiritual awareness.
