This piece was created without any preconceived notion as to the outcome. It was created with acrylic paints, gesso, decorative cut glass, gloss varnish, and a palette knife. I moved the palette knife around in a simple uninhibited manner to create this piece along with a brush for the background. It is decorative and minimalistic in its presentation and this painting will deliver a punch of color to your decor. I would love for the viewer to see the beauty in the simplicity of this painting. It has hints of yellow ochre, taupe, and brown tones along with red. This piece is wired and ready to hang in your residence or business upon delivery. I am an abstract expressionist artist. I paint from raw emotion and release every ounce of my spirit into my creative endeavors. I studied Theater Arts and Design in New York. Painting is a medium that came to me later in my life. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to express myself through abstraction. It's a delicious treat... sometimes decadent. I love the challenges that are presented as I contemplate new ideas, implement my thoughts, and watch them become a reality. in addition, I love listening to guests who visit my studio and purchase my art. Thanks to my clients and collectors - both national and international I was able to fundraise for the Charlotte Arts & Humanities Council of Charlotte County (Florida). It was wonderful to be able to dance and paint for such a great cause and to celebrate the arts community through scholarships for students.
