this painting is inspired by the feeling of a morning that will never be the same again, a morning when everything changes in one moment, the morning of the first day of the war. The heaviness and richness of the structure identifies the complexity of the internal state of a person who finds himself in such a situation, single-engine light shades of colors identify hope for a brighter future

Julia Delani's abstract art is characterized by the alternation of rhythmically coordinated and spontaneous compositions. In her work, the artist solves the complex philosophical problems of the imperfection of the world, chaos and control, and as a result, perfectionism. The world is always in motion and change, but to truly realize the destructiveness of chaos is possible only during periods of great tragedies. For Juliya Delani that moment came in February 2022 when she found herself in the midst of the most devastating war of the 21st century and was forced to leave home. Now, the specter of this revelation haunts the artist in all spheres of life, and creativity is a way not to let it absorb itself completely. In Switzerland, a foreign country, she constructs in her canvases a place of order and control, and sometimes, on the contrary, splashes out all the chaos that she had to face. With her successive strokes, the artist seems to be trying to "comb", systematize, balance not only her compositions, but the world as a whole. Unfortunately, perfectionism has a downside, no less destructive side. Since it is impossible to achieve an ideal, and most importantly, a statically perfect result in a constantly changing world. The works born in attempts to control the eternal energy of being amaze with expressive power and energy. One can only guess how much inner strength the artist put on the altar of perfectionism. Juliya Delani is Ukrainian abstract artist. After the start of the war in 2022, she was forced to leave Ukraine and move to Geneva, where She lives and paint now. She has been doing art for already 12 years and by this day portfolio has reached a number of 168 works, having 7 collections in total.
