ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I was intrigued by the sculptor of sand on the beach in Puerto Vallarta and he agreed to model for me. It was blistering hot and uncomfortable with grains of sand everywhere, including on the canvas but we did it and he said I painted him like he thought of himself and so we bonded as artists. ON the left I believe he made a serpent and on the right, a goddess.
