Every day we take palliative medicine to alleviate our anguish, our suffering and sadness. We all run away from pain, no one wants to suffer. And it is here on social media that we find our doses of instant pleasures. We show ourselves, we give opinions, we dance, we offend, we fight, etc. Everything to just feel, even if superficially, a little more loved. A place taken over by a multitude of boiling alter egos. I wonder where the truth went? What truth do you want to be? To be in the world, we live in debt to the networks. We have to feed it, and feed the idea that everything is always wonderful in our lives. We must show that we are great professionals with many followers. We have to say that we are safe, we are capable and we are winners. But we also have to, sometimes, show our fragility, but, of course, in a cinematic way to make our viewers aware of the new entertainment industry. We have to be part of it, never left out. We have to be in good light, without dark circles under our eyes and with rosy cheeks. We have to be engaged, giving our opinion, sending hearts, trivializing love in the form of emojis. We have to tell the world every day that we are well, and above all, show that we are alive. Otherwise, someone who still really cares about you will do the crazy thing to call you thinking you're dead. But quite the opposite, perhaps whoever called you will find you more alive, free and living more than ever. “Not posting” is fighting against abstinence, it is resistance. It is the new freedom of the contemporary world. But this freedom can make the world no longer respect you. The system of algorithms and self-generative artificial intelligence is merciless.
