Photographer: barissahingoz Before thinking about a painting, I look at various photos that connect me with the photographer and I plan the link between the photo and my final work. I rescue those that capture my attention, to give a message using oil as the main material. I use this technique as it allows me to express myself in the best way through its color combinations. Art is a way of connecting with myself and a way of inspiring myself for what is to come.

Welcome to my studio. I'm Ariel, a contemporary artist living in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I specialize in human faces. My approach is realistic, capturing expressions and taking care of each brushstroke in detail to give it a personal stamp. All portraits are hand painted with oil paint. The works are worked on canvas and/or on 300 gram paper depending on their size. Once finished and dried, a varnish is applied for its conservation.
