I was inspired by Royal Ballet I saw starring Sylvie Guillem and Carlos Acosta in "Prodigal Son" in 2004. I wanted to recreate that magical moment with the tension, the spark, the passion, oozing out from the stage.

I was born in Japan, and grew up in Nairobi, Kenya and Bangkok, Thailand. Due to a lack of opportunity to watch TV, I spent many hours painting and drawing. I draw inspiration from pop art movement from 1960s, favouring simple lines and strong colours to convey powerful message. Currently based in London.
